Number One on the list has to be these orgasmic originals. Oysters can be prepared in a number of ways to eat or gulped down raw with a dash of lemon juice. Kilpatrick is an old time favorite for most and are easy to prepare. I will add a quick recipe for you! The health benefits these little beauties provide come from their high zinc content. RECIPE:

Ingredients:

-12 fresh, clean oysters

-1 cup of rock salt

-2tbsp Worcestershire sauce

-175g small bacon bits or rindless bacon rashers, diced

-1lemon cut into wedges for serving

Method:

-soak bacon in Worcestershire sauce in a bowl for 5-10 minutes

-Preheat grill to med-high. Put a thick layer of rock salt, evenly over baking tray (a large-holed muffin tray can also be used and works much better)

-Arrange oysters (leaving them in their half shells) on top of salt on tray or place in muffin holes

-Spoon bacon and sauce over each oyster

-Place tray under grill for 5-8 minutes or until bacon starts to crisp.

-EAT!!!!!!

(Quality is needed here. I have found Smirnoff Vodka to be the best.)

Relax your body and inhibitions with a side of good quality tequila. A perfect accompaniment with it's internal heating experience at the closing of each shot. The lemon can be sucked on to enhance the flavor and act as a 'chaser' for the less brave stiff drinkers. Sorry guys, I can't list any health benefits for this one, but am sure your evening will be excitingly entertaining. Reminding ourselves that responsible drinking of alcohol should always take place and I advise you to stay hydrated also. Another option is to soak some fruit in your tequila for a few hours in the fridge for a delicious desert! Cantaloupe (rock melon), apple, peach, orange segments, watermelon is a fantastic combination that I can say I have had a sexy success with. Deter from bananas and kiwi fruit as they don't soak in fluid well.
